Learning Disability and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder Assessment
Students who believe they may have a learning disability or Attention-Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder can be tested at CAPS. Students who qualify may choose to present their test results to the UH Center for Students with DisABILITIES (CSD) in order to request academic accommodations. Testing fees vary with services required. Only currently enrolled UH students are eligible for LD/ADHD testing.
Personality Assessment
CAPS therapists may utilize personality assessment instruments to enhance and inform client treatment. These tests are available at CAPS and are selected based on therapist interpretation of client needs. There are no fees for personality assessment.
Career Exploration and Assessment
Students interested in career assessment can participate in individual career counseling and career assessment which includes the administration and interpretation of career assessment tools, discussion of career values and career choice processes and referral to job search resources. There is a nominal fee for career assessment.
