Testing & Assessment

Learning Disability and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Testing
Students who believe they may have a learning disability or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder can be tested at CAPS. Students who qualify may choose to present their test results to the UH Center for Students with DisABILITIES (CSD) in order to request academic accommodations. Testing fees vary with services required. Only currently enrolled UH students are eligible for LD/ADHD testing.

Personality Testing
CAPS therapists may utilize personality assessment instruments to enhance and inform client treatment. These tests are available at CAPS and are selected based on therapist interpretation of client needs. There are no fees for personality assessment.

Career Exploration and Testing
Students, faculty, and staff interested in career testing can participate in individual career counseling or a 2-session vocational workshop. Workshop activities include the administration and interpretation of career assessment tools, discussion of career values and career choice processes, and referral to job search resources. There is a nominal fee for career testing. Vocational workshops are held in the counseling center. Participants are free to walk-in; registration is not necessary. Please check our website for a current workshop schedule.
